RMUTL with SEAMEO STEM-ED Center organized the Experts Meeting and Knowledge Exchange Forum Interanion of STEM.

RMUTL with the SEAMEO STEM-ED Center brought together experts in ASEAN countries to discuss ways to integrate STEM Education with Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) into good practices to improve the level of professional graduate production to keep up to date with changes in new educational standards.

The College of Integrated Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna together with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for STEM Education / SEAMEO STEM-ED Center, organized the Experts Meeting and Knowledge Exchange Forum Interanion of STEM at the Rajarat Meeting room, BA Building 3, Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, RMUTL, Chiang Mai, on February 5-6, 2024 to provide a platform for STEM experts from ASEAN member countries to exchange knowledge on STEM integration issues, Studying with Technical and Vocational Education and Training in each country along with setting good practices to drive related activities together in the future towards raising the level of educational provision with the same standard quality with Dr. Kritchai Somsamarn, Director of SEAMEO STEM-ED Center, Dr. Paryono Paryono, Deputy Director for Program, SEAMEO VOCTECH, Brunei and Dr. Nopadon Maneethien, Director of The College of Integrated Science and Technology, RMUTL along with representatives from various Thai agencies and from member states in ASEAN participated in the meeting both on-site and online.

Dr. Nopadon Maneethien said “For The College of Integrated Science and Technology, RMUTL which is an institution that brings STEM education and various sciences, integrates it into the teaching and learning process. Good practices will be adopted from this exchange of knowledge. Applying to enhance the production of professional graduates, keep up with changes in new educational standards from the integration of STEM education with Technical and Vocational Education and Training that will occur shortly along with increasing the language skills and expertise of staff and students, which is one of the goals of the university.”
